    Nice interview.

Billy K said, about 7 Walkers and their new record:

It was a collaboration in the truest sense. I think Papa has done a miracle. I’m already excited about doing the next record. I can’t wait.

Jane and I will be at the VT show. We were originally going the the NH show, but that conflicted with a dudes show in VT.

Hey Sharon. Yup, I was there. They are sounding great right now. They got rid of the percussionist and it has only improved the music. Have you seen Furthur yet ?? Check back after the show and let us know what you think.

                      • Box of Rain is always a bittersweet song for me now. It is THE last song the Grateful Dead ever played. I was there and none of us would have thought that would be the case that wonderful July night in Chicago.

The 'So Many Roads' from that night brings me to tears every time. I was not there, unfortunately.

                          • On my way home from work this morning I was listening to David Gans' show on Sirius. Glowing reviews of the shows and it was interesting that several folks had the same pet peeve that I did.... Too many pit bulls being paraded through the parking lot and all the freaking nitrous tanks. Obnoxious. The nitrous was in huge supply at the UNO Widespread shows a couple weeks ago as well. Give up the gas people !

                            • Here is a clip I filmed of the opener, New Minglewood Blues, on Saturday night from the 10th row center...

Furthur performing "New Minglewood Blues" at the UIC Pavillion in Chicago on 11/13/2010.

                              • Guess you haven't been to a show lately. The NITROUS MAFIA is everywhere. even at football games and in front of Liuzza's after fest. Desperate people do desperate things and they are everywhere. Big money in the gas too with an unlimited stream of customers. The funny thing is, there are more of them but the size of the balloons has shrunk.

I hate em, but every time I say that I have a balloon in my hand five minutes later.(love that first hit...after that, not so much..).

And the kids with the pits, well that is the guys that are making everything hard. They are from SF. The have dogs, hang in the street when not touring (they have nothing to do with the nitrous mafia), they sleep in cuddle puddles and sell acid that might not be the real deal. They cause a lot of trouble in the scene. Funny but there is only about 50 of them but they seem like 10.000.....
