NOLA from the water

  • NOLA from the water

    It looks like Google Street view mounted their camera on a speedboat and took it for a spin around New Orleans. You can see the view from the water on the Mississippi from near Audubon Park downriver almost to English Turn. If the lake is more your preference, that one goes from Slidell past Kenner and all the way up the lakeshore to Mandeville, plus the water view of the whole causeway.

    (I don't know how Google hires for these things, but that seems like way more fun than driving back and forth over every street in the city at 5 mph).

        Was there a link here?

        I like taking the ferry to Gretna Fest for the view of Downtown Nola you get from it.

        And I spend quite of bit of time down at the fly, so I like forward to seeing the pics of that area from the river
