I’ve seen TTB so many times and frankly have grown a bit tired of their shows as good as they are and this brings to mind their recreation of “Mad Dogs and Englishmen” at Lockn’ a few years ago. Fabulous. A fond fond memory. I’ve often reflected and wished that they would do more sets like that. Most bands would suck attempting something like that but Derrick has a skill and a touch and a respect that allows him to pull it off.

The Lockin set covering the entire album of "Layla" may be the greatest live set of music EVER. OK, that's subjective. But it is transcendent. And is at the very least in the conversation.
