Something popped on my phone's screen regarding a Saenger date in late January but I lost it. It was most likely from the touts who try and sell tickets before they are available. No official announcement from the band yet.

They are starting a three-night run at the London Palladium tonight - i am in for the whole thing and have no doubt that it will be great!

Unfortunately, having waited almost three years to see them again, we have a national train strike on Saturday, plus the potential knock-on effects on Sunday, so some clever travel planning will be required.

Tedeschi Trucks Band will return to Chicago, IL’s The Chicago Theatre and Washington, D.C.’s Warner Theatre in early 2023 for multi-night concert runs.

First, in February and March, Tedeschi Trucks Band will take over the Warner Theatre for two separate three-night runs, one spanning from February 16th–18th and another taking place from March 2nd–4th. Then, the four-show Chicago Theatre run will begin with a pair of shows on March 17th and 18th and wrap up two weeks later with another two-night run on March 31st and April 1st.

Fan Club ticket lottery submissions for the Chicago and Washington, D.C. shows will be open from 12:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, November 3rd until 5:00 p.m. local time on Monday, November 7th. Fan Club pre-sale begins Tuesday, November 8th at noon local time (Chicago code: CHIw23TTB; Washington, D.C. code: DCw23TTB). Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 11th at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Thanks for posting this...I've just finished watching both. I thought the first night was excellent, but THE SECOND NIGHT... HOLY SHIT!! Both Los Lobos ad TTB were absolutely on fire and what a bonus having Jerry Douglas sitting in. I have tickets to catch them in London in early November, but I'm going to have to try to catch more than the one show I think.

Hey Now Horror, Olde Hoon, I don't know where in this wicked ol' world you are at these daze, but I hope you are well and have recovered from any ribald excesses incurred at your beloved Notting Hill Carnival---I am not sure if you ever decided anything about trying to catch another Tedeschi Trucks Band show in addition to your night in London, but if you are looking for a last minute musical getaway, I am flying with Ania to Prague to see them this Thursday, Oct. 27th at a small venue called Forum Karlin, (where it looks like there will be plenty of room, as available tickets are not even halfway sold-out) and as you must surely know, prices in Prague are always very budget friendly. Our hotel is in the heart of Wenceslas Square, a 4 star splurge that includes breakfast for less than $40 per night, and apparently even the legendary Burger King with the unlimited draught Pilsner Urquell is still going strong...

Then a couple of days later, I will fly from Prague up to Brussels (sadly Ania has to go back home to Krakow for work) then catch the train to Rotterdam for their show there on Sunday, October 30th at Ahoy, where available tickets also look to be abundant, so if you don't have any plans and might like to meet up, maybe you should check and see what flights to Prague or the Netherlands are running, I would be happy to see a familiar face, especially one that speaks a little English, after a fashion. First few rounds are on me!!!

For any American Threadhead friends thinking of European travel in the near future, this is a mighty fine time for it, as the dollar is currently stronger against the Euro, GB Pound and most other European currencies than it has been in over 20 years. My flights (from Krakow to Prague, then Prague to Brussels, then from Rotterdam back to Krakow, which has to be nearly 1500 miles total) were all together, including fees and taxes, less than $45 U$D, total. Ironically, the $25, ninety mile train ride from Brussels to Rotterdam is actually the most expensive leg of my trip....

Hope everyone is well, I still think about New Orleans almost every day, and look forward to showing Ania why that city is such a huge part of so many of our collective lives.

I burned 2 CDs of the complete "I A The Moon" for the car and it really shows the breadth of what they've accomplished. 24 new songs, not a dud in them, all seeming to be able to be pulled out and played live, the ones that have been since the start of the Wheels Of Soul tour already more than the recorded versions. What a position for a touring band to be in...that is a lot of material even by double album standards ("Exile On Main Street" fits on one CD...).

And the tour with Los Lobos has been totally kicking ass, with the Jimmy Kimmel appearances by both bands and the Nugs webcasts nice lagniappes.

This band is on such a roll!

It's actually 2 hours and 10 minutes of music. I have it all downloaded onto my phone and have been playing it all as it's come out. I would not say there are any duds but there are a few that I'm not crazy about that just sound like more of the same. I wish that there were more instrumentals in there. I do think the best songs are some of their strongest to date. Having Gabe sing a bit mixes it up a bit more which is a good thing. Still surprised that Alicia never gets to sing an entire song.

I imagine when they do some An Evening Of TTB gigs when they are the only band playing they will be able to stretch out and play even more of these 24 songs.
