        He and the Wrecking Crew were the musicians on hundreds of songs that are in the center of the rock & roll universe. If you music fans haven't seen the documentary on the Wrecking Crew track it down.

          Hal Blaine was also known as a great story and joke teller. After working with David Grisman, a cd of Blaine telling jokes was released on Grisman's label. Here is a clip; He was a legend!

              My local public radio station was playing Good Vibrations and I wondered why. They don't play nostalgia stuff. The dj then said Hal had died. Very sad. RIP.
