  • Crossfire Hurricane coming?

The EURO and the GFS models both have this entity that is suppose to enter the Gulf this week, sitting right on top the Superdome Sunday the 14th. It is not forecasted to be a strong storm but just a tropical storm. "IF" it happens will the show go on?

NWS says NOLA won't get a hurricane. I guess in the small chance it turns north earlier than expected, that means it won't have as much time to develop. But flooding rains remain a real risk.

Good read. The last couple of sentences were interesting... "Tickets to Sunday's concert are still available through Ticketmaster, starting at $69 plus service charges. Resale sites have tickets listed for less than face value."

Lots of higher upper level seats on stubhub in the $30 range.

I saw U2 for 10 bucks at the Dome a few years ago. I expect the same this time, with the storm and all. I'm guessing many will just cancel plans and dump the tickets.
                            Kemp.....hope you make it.

Hoping they pull out Fortune Teller for 'fan request' song.

I am scheduled to drive down on Saturday for Stones show from south of ATL.... question for the local crew - If this takes place what is going to be best way to get out of Superdome when it's raining? We are staying at Hilton Riverside and would normally walk Poydras or over to Canal and catch a streetcar. If there is rain I'd imagine that it will be ugly trying to catch a cab/uber
