I have proof of residence in Okaloosa County and can purchase tix for $500 after Dec. 10 by emailing my proof.
Guy on phone says that I wouldn't be able to split attendance. I asked if I bought a ticket, could I use it for 2 days and then let a buddy use it for 2 days. He said no. Also, he didn't know many tix would be available for county residents.
Not a bad idea at all

Buku just scrapped their March fest. I think that's the first NOLA spring music fest to cancel?

BUKU Music + Art Festival canceled its March 2021 outing due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. The New Orleans festival held at Mardi Gras World also announced an alternate event dubbed BUKU: Planet B set for October 22 and 23, 2021.

Additionally, BUKU announced that the “big BUKU” will return in March 2022 to celebrate the festival’s 10-year anniversary. A statement posted to the festival’s website detailed the new event in October 2021 as well as BUKU’s 10-year anniversary celebration.

I'm sure the first of many if not all unfortunately.

As Cindy mentioned, Exit zero is scheduled and I’m looking forward to attending again and hope to be able to.
Im ready for my vaccine whenever I’m up next. I always get a little run down from the regular flu shot so nbd if I get hit with a brief fever or whatever.

Until we have some clarity I’ll be saving my money so that I’ll be able to do all the things once we are looking closer to normal.

Liam could probably sell 170,000 tix on his own if he reunited with his bother and had a huge Oasis comeback concert. Maybe call it Wanker Fest!

Vaccine news has me optimistic that Fall fests might actually happen this year.

This one should definitely be happening, as they managed to actually have their fall festival in October 2020. We met up with Fichadelphia there and had a wonderful time. We bought the "Hops pass", which gave us admission to 3 outdoor stages at a winery, distillery, & brewery . The distillery & brewery had squares drawn on their fields to keep people distanced; the winery had tables that were spaced out. All 3 required masks anytime you weren't in your square or table. The spring lineup is looking good so far; they will be adding more acts. https://www.exitzerojazzfestival.com/

I'm happy to know that I will be attending some festival that weekend. Since Jazzfest is looking very doubtful, Exit 0 will be a nice plan B.
This festival still looks like a go on the website. We got our 1st shot 3/1 so should be good to go by mid april. Good line-up. Don't know how I never heard of this fest before. Maybe it's always during jazzfest. Shemekia copeland, Robert Glasper, Joey DeFrancesco ,Bill Frisell, Joey Alexander... and that jazzfest bored favorite Red Baraat. Gotta consider this.

Forecastle Fest (Fo'c'sle?) kicked to 2022. So, May is too soon in Kentucky.

Yeah, I'd never been able to attend due to the timing coinciding with Jazz Fest however we went to their 2020 edition last fall and really enjoyed our time. The festival is set up at various venues throughout Cape May. Our friends have a beach house rental that week and invited us to come stay with them (excellent coincidence) so I think we'll probably plan our fest time according to their interests and the forecast. I hope to see you there!

Well, damn... nice announcement from Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, yet another Southern festival I’ve yet to attend. See what almost two years out does to a person? I’m even looking up the Corklickers from the fine print to see what they’re all about. And except for that aberrant hour or so yesterday blasting a Cult compilation CD (my wife barely blinked), this line-up lines up with my quarantine listening habits pretty closely.

Bogalusa Blues Fest (about 90 minutes north of NOLA) just announced 2021 dates, Sep 24-25. No other details yet, but good to know they plan to return.

Real attractive lineup and a weekend pass + shuttle, parking, camp is only $115.00. They must be doing something right up there. Too bad it isn't closer.

I loved this fest when I went in '19. Highly recommended.
