We told the girls we went to UCLA just to impress them, but to us it stood for "University Closest to Libertyville Area". Marlon Brando and Tom Morrello from Rage Against the Machine were LHS alums.
Gregg, are you familiar with singer/songwriter Ike Reilly? He is also from Libertyville & has been doing his live stream shows from there (Morello remotely guested on one). They have been one of my favorite shows during the pandemic. He had his 3 sons playing with him, and son-in-law on drums, but a couple of the kids are going back to school now.

At our little Christian college we got the Oak Ridge Boys, when they were singing gospel.

Well I did not spend much time at Uni as I went straight from graduating with honours at High School to working in our biggest advertising agency at the time.

Luckily when we were kids there was a dance at our local community hall which originally had the hippy name of Stonehenge. In the early 70s this became known as the Beauy Dance.

And in early 74 I think it was we were lucky enough to see a hard rocking band that had come down from Sydney whom we had never heard of, they had a cheeky lead singer called Bon Scott.
There would have been lucky to be more than 100 people there but we thought that the band were quite funny and entertaining.

Little did we realize that AC/DC would go on to be one of the biggest selling bands of all time. Let There Be Rock indeed

I dated a gal that was on the Program Council at University of Alabama so I had front row seats to most shows. During Sex Week Linda Lovelace gave a presentation about making Deep Throat. She said it was mind over matter. Al Goldstein gave a presentaion about making porn movies. (Some female students ran from the theater screaming when he show some clips) Concerts I saw Liza Minelli, Cheech and Chong, Joni Mitchell, Pointer Sisters, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Brown, Gary Wright the dream weaver, Freddie King, ELP, Traffic (they were so stoned they did not make it through the first song), Doobie Brothers, Led Zep, Jeff Beck, Elton John.

Don't you think it's about time that Mrs. Kemp got her own bored name?

It came and went. It was big for awhile.

Would he or she prefer a real or Pseudo response?

I embarrass her enough in public. She doesn't want to clean up after me online.

I'm probably due for a good lecture soon.
