Big hassle trying to get them as Ticketmaster said something like they couldn't process the request, try another device. I went from my computer to my phone and finally even tried navigating the Internet on my Smart TV...same result.

After being told to clear my cache, which I did on my computer and my phone and it still didn't work, it finally worked when I took my phone off Wi Fi and used it. I guess TM sensed more than one device coming in via the same Wi Fi connection (though each device has a unique IP address...).

They always play great at the Saenger, where Susan and Derek met she has said from the stage. I'd like to go to both nights but am already into it for $250... Like the Dead, you know you will get two different set lists.

I had similar problems, "try another device" on both personal and work laptops. Eventually succeeded using the android app.

Going both nights, looking forward to it.

I had no issues getting tix. Going Fri as I have to work on Sat. This is the longest I've gone without seeing them since they became a band back in 2010 having last seen them at The saenger back in 2019.

I actually wish they'd play Champions Square, The Fillmore or someplace without seats on the floor near the stage. The shows I've seen in those types of places were way more fun and the band seems to feed off the crowd energy. Not so much that way at The Saenger or Beacon shows I've seen.

I have extremely fond memories of seeing them at the newly reopened Joy in October 2013 which I think was around Blues and Vegan BBQ Festival time.

Most of us were in the standing area near the sound desk and the sound and the show were both fantastic.

It was a great night with a good Krewe of friends.

          Ah the memories.

I was in the balcony for that show. The hung PA was pointed right at you up there and I have said it was the best concert sound I've ever heard. To have so many open mics for all those instruments/singers and never have any feedback is an accomplishment. And that night, it seemed everyone was positioned in the mix in a way that made it sound like it was coming from where they were standing on the stage, with Derek's guitar and Susan's voice in the middle on top, just enough louder than everyone else.

Their Front Of The House sound is always superb.

I whole heartedly agree with all of the above Choppa.

I remember us discussing this show a while back.

It was a magnificent show and luckily you were protected from the antics of the selfie stick wielding Tyrant by virtue of your seating

I just found the old ticket to the above mentioned show, which was hard to do as I am half pissed at 10 15 pm.
The show was presented by Winter Circle Productions, who may or may not have been part of AEG back then, but who knows.

It was Wednesday Oct 19 2013 and a GA standing ticket was $43 I think from what I can read.

I have been very fortunate over the years to have been able to see heaps of gigs both large and small from next to the mixing desk.
              .
And I do not take it for granted and or forget how very lucky I have been.

I am now listening to the live TTB version of Why Does Love Have To be So Sad.

Excellent stuff. I love TTB and cant wait until I am next able to see them again.

                      I wish,

But I am meant to be having a much needed hand operation in Jan.

The op has been pushed back twice already due to the problems created by Covid cases taking up heaps of beds in some hospitals.

Although I haven't gone there yet (tried Sunday but they were closed for Dinner) there is a funky new Latin tapas joint across Canal St (110 S Rampart St) from The Saenger called Besame. I'm sure I'll be there before the Fri TTB show if anyone wants to stop by. Or maybe this Sunday before heading over to The Dome....

                        Tapas style Latin American restaurant
