Love everything from Selling England by the Pound thru Abacab. The shapes album ( Genesis ) and Invisible touch are also great. Poppy, but still sounds like Genesis. Gabriel was great, but they peaked in the late 70's/early 80's imo.

Foo Fighters just got announced for Beale Street in Memphis during Week 1 of Jazz Fest , me thinks they got rebooked for this year

Both fests have pretty much shared multiple headliners for years

Hot Tuna acoustic are touring in April. In Richmond, VA on the 18th. If booked, will likely get stuck in Blues tent.

That would be cool, acoustic or electric.

As of three weeks ago, they still really rock as an electric trio. Harks back to heavier '70s Tuna...and Jorma is friggin' 80!

                    • I saw them a few years ago electrically, and they were great. Always my favorite elements of The Airplane. Never could get on the Starship.

                        Agree.

I never got in to the Starships Orbit

If only you and Gards believed like I believe.
There should be an investigation to see if dna shows the two Jefferson entities to be unrelated after all.

Ditto. They were missing the 2 best members and too commercial for my tastes. I guess we just did't believe in "Miracles"!

The modern Starship ain't bad, if you like the vintage stuff with Kantner. David Freiberg is still there, so they have someone who was in Jefferson Airplane (if briefly). Singer Cathy RIchardson is real good and the last album even had a song cowritten by Grace.

I had no idea that they were even still around. Are they on the casino circuit?
