Anderon .Paak at Toulouse Theatre which is scheduled to begin at 11.30pm but I also would like to go to the Howlin Wolf' where Medeski, Stanton Moore and Skerik are playing at 1pm. Do you guys think that's doable? or would it be too stressful? Monoeon is playing in booth shows, but I don't know...
Also, on Thursday 5/5 I'd like to go to three gigs in a row: Stanton Moore and Friends at Toulouse Theatre at 9pm, Nigel Hall w Butcher Brown at Blue Nile at 11pm and Will Blades w Headhunters at Cafe Istanbul at 1am. I've seen that they're close but don't know if its realistic to attend all three of them.
Any suggestions or thoughts about it and also how to move from one place to the other will be very welcomed. Thanks!!!
Medeski mononeon show wont start till after two. highly recommend catching as many scatterjazz shows as possible:

I used bikes to get between venues last time and plan to do that again this year. If you see someone hitting a bong at a shpw that's me. Come say hi

My general advice is to commit to the one show that you think will sell out and play all the rest by ear. Rarely is there a late show without several folks trying to sell tickets outside because one of their friends fell asleep

Great! I'd have seen some interesting scatterjazz shows. There is some that are at the same time that Daze Between Fest which I also have tickets for.

By bike was an option but I wasn't sure that it'd be safe at night...

          • Raulmarc, It is 100% possible to hit Mobetta->Medeski. That’s my plan except I have midnight preserves. The conflicts are really starting to pile up for me. As for your Thursday plans, you could def do Stanton and Headhunters. Fitting Nigel in will depend on timing. One thing I’ve learned over the years is in New Orleans, things run by a different sort of clock. Stanton will not be starting at 9 for instance. And medeski will not be starting at 2 imo. You can almost always count on the show starting at least a half hour if not an hour later than showtime. Only other thing I’d add is in general I don’t think three night shows is too ambitious. You’re barking up the right tree if you can make the timing work. Have fun!

Really good to know all the info! In fact It's really exciting to have most of my favorite musicians in the planet playing around and also kind of frustrating not being able to attend everything I'd like. I'll have to come to terms with it, I guess!

              • Raul, how long are you coming for? I forgot to recommend the Music Box Village, which is an unforgettable venue!

From April 29th to May 8th, so almost ten days in total.

About Music Box Village, I have seen it and it looked really really cool. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll really try to go!

                  • Seeing a show at MBV is awesome. But you should try to go when they have open hours so you can "play" with all the instruments.

This Mobetta show killed me, it’s my night for midnight preserves.

Midnight Preserves shows are not that long usually. You may be able to do both are they are right near each other. I would imagine the Mobetta show will go late into the night.
