Help me out here swag or anyone else. For years and years I have gone back and forth between a Brass Pass or just a regular ticket. I am old and memory is bad but I was thinking that the tickets were cheaper when I just walked up to the ticket center on Poydras adjacent to the Superdome. swag?

You would pay the then-current face price, but lower fees than for online purchases, and no per order or mailing fee. Recently, those box office fees were $5 for cash, or maybe $7(?) for card purchases. The in person purchases were not available for the Fall '21 fest. And the box office didn't sell wristbands, only single day GA tickets.

Is anyone that got an early bird/advance wristband for one of the canceled fests and got a refund going to buy them again? It's nice to save a few bucks, but I don't like the non-transferable part. I guess it shows the organizers the level of early interest in going and support? I remember hearing sales for the fall '21 attempt at a Fest were soft.

Someone please call my doctor. I'm looking at 2nd weekend Grand Marshal.
Total $1677 drive out price. I can do 12 days of JF (2 travel days) for less than $1677.
Telluride Bluegrass, Telluride Blues, Rocky Grass plus other festivals all for less than
$1677. Just think, for $1677 I can be 20/30 feet closer to the stage. Maybe not
this year. The fees for Grand Marshal are $77. The first year we went to JF tickets
were $6.

I've never bought one.
But I think part of the appeal is that you can get close to the band without camping out all day. Yes, the rail spots in the GA area are right behind the GM VIP, but if you want that rail spot for a big headliner, you need to get there early, stay all day, team up with friends for bathroom runs, and fight thru the SRO crowds to get back. With GM, you can enjoy the other stages all day long, knowing you can still get close later when your headliner starts.Visit my Jazzfest advice site: http://jazzfest.swagland.com/

I don't plan on buying one but how do the wristbands work? Do you get one for each day or keep it on for the entire weekend?
