The tornado, which hit both the Lower Ninth Ward and St. Bernard Parish, communities in eastern New Orleans devastated by Hurricane Katrina, had cleared the city by about 8:30 p.m. as it headed east. It was not immediately clear how many people had been injured and how extensive the damage was.

I hate this happening anywhere, but the fact that it hit areas that were so devastated by Katrina makes it even worse. As the sun comes up, more will be revealed. Hoping no one else was injured. What can we do?
