Next year's Americanafest dates confirmed as September 19 -24, which is significant as it implies there will be programming on the Sunday, which has been missing for a few years.

I've been looking for those dates. Thanks for posting. Those dates make it impossible to do Rhythm & Roots and Americana due to 8 days between festivals.

We haven't suffered in a good while! But driving the Transit 350 XL to Texas, and thence to Louisiana... ugh. Lots to see on the way, however. A trip like that makes my friends' 1000+ km bicycle months-long trip thru northern Europe seem affordable and sensible by comparison.
Oh, I see. Very nice setup, but I don't think I could persuade B.A. to allow me to bring that with...so it's probably going to be a shitty Lockhart motel for me.

Au contraire mon ami. You can easily do both, you just have to find something else on the in-between weekend!

Thanks to the post on this thread I was able to add Nikki Lane & 49 Winchester to my radar.
Last night 49 Winchester opened up for Nikki. 49 Winchester was a bit to much country for
my taste last night. Nikki and her band were on fire. Great set! They played at Last Concert Cafe
here in Houston. Last Concert is Houston's most friendly 420 venue. Nikki was smoking on
stage. Great night in Houston as the Astros won nearby. Go Stros!

Saw the duo at a sold out house concert a couple of weeks ago. The Achilles Wheel trio opened. A fine evening of entertainment.

Sunday might not happen next year.

Our 23rd annual AMERICANAFEST will take place September 19-23, 2023 Not Sept. 19-24

I figured fans of Americanafest might want to hear that Hayes Carll is playing Tips in March, got a ticket/pre-sale/something or other email from them about it
