Because we played on my porch, my usual routine was thrown out the door. No Skull and Bones, no Indians, no French Quarter wandering, no Bmacs, no Frenchmen street. Still.....one of the best days EVER !! So damn fun.
I like changing it up for sure. I did a completely different MG this year, and I loved it!

It is extremely hard, and sad. to get away from people that claimed to love you. They you really look at some of the things you think of, and where did it come from. The catholic church and the paraish we were in. I always waited for the other shoe to drop. I was drilled to never get too happy....or something bad could happen to your family. awful crap. awful. The way that church treated my mother when she got divorced and when she died, was the coldest most heartless inhumane way to treat a mother and her children. when i came home from 2nd grade, and my dog was sniffing another dog, I cried my eyes out because i know my dog was going to hell. A child does not know where babies come from, they can't comprehend wedlock, they can't fathom that everything around them may go to hell. Now at my age, I am able to face the truth about this religion. I have faith, and live my life with faith. But not organized religion.

I saw photos of Lord Horror looking like a court jester, rather than in regal attire, which is certainly a change.
