YYR! Great lineup but bad timing.

I’ve become less and less of a “sit in seat and endure a lengthy one-venue festival” kind of guy lately, even though I went to Willie’s outlaw Fest when it came through locally. I take comfort in knowing that it’ll likely be a vaudeville-esque affair with stars sharing the stage for mere minutes in order to keep the event movin’, but still…

My thoughts exactly. So much talent but do they have either the opportunity or inclination to be themselves or is it just a tribute. Obviously no one hour sets but a couple of Willie songs or duets and then a chance to show just how good that you are and why you were invited.

Kinda like too many chefs in the kitchen. I do wish a bunch of those names were gonna be at the fest this year.

Lukas Nelson is playing The Joy the week before Jazz Fest. Looking forward to that one. Loved his Fest set last year.
