2010 Moment - April 24th - You're Invited

on July 24th, Jim & I are getting married at our house in St. Louis, MO.
the following evening we are having a big party with Funky Butt Brass Band providing the music.

since its not conceivable for everyone to join us that weekend, we are taking the show on the road.
we are exchanging vows at our favorite locales throughout the summer & fall (& possibly winter).
these faux vows are unique and specific to each venue. part playful, part serious, completely us.
we started at the home opener April 12th, & are now unlawfully wed in the eyes of Cardinal Nation.

next stop, JazzFest. Please join us on 1st Saturday, 2pm behind Ms. Lena's beer tent.
3 minute 'ceremony' so dont blink. copies will be available via jazzfest live in 12-18 months.
in lieu of gifts, please purchase a local musicians' CD for someone you love.

we recently learned Jim has to head back north on sunday to w#rk for the week.
getting him back into NOLA, for just 2 more days, is more expense and hassle than
either of us want to deal with at this already hectic time.
so we have to cancel the 2nd weekend ceremony at the acura 'sky box'.

no patry or wednesday events for him either. he's not as JF addicted as I am, so its probably bothering me more than him. but somehow, i will manage to have a good time in his absence.

other tour dates include Bear Creek Music & Art Festival in FL (November), and hopefully Roots n Blues n BBQ in Columbia, MO (October) &/or Arkansas Blues & Heritage (King Biscuit - October).
more dates will be announced if Jim switches to a M-F job, he currently works weekends.
